Here’s what clients say about Seattle attorney and trial lawyer Ray Dearie.

“Ray put his heart into my cases and never stopped fighting for me, even when it got tough” — C.M.J.

Ray Dearie is a great person and an amazing lawyer. Ray took on two lawsuits for me that lasted for about five years. They were very difficult cases, having to do with me being molested as a child by a police officer.  Ray put his heart into my cases and never stopped fighting for me, even when it got tough.

We won both of my lawsuits, I feel if it wasn’t for Ray that never would have happened. Ray helped me make the truth come out, which has made me be able to move forward and have a positive life. Words can’t even explain how much I appreciate everything he has done for me, Ray is definitely a blessing!

I would recommend Ray to anyone, he has a big heart and really cares. He will do whatever he can for the person he is representing.

“Ray always treated me with respect and never made me feel like I was asking stupid questions…he got us a settlement that was probably greater than any we would have gotten in court. ” — Tena Kibbey

Ray Dearie is a compassionate, competent attorney that I hired after our trial attorney of four years retired.  He agreed to take on a risky case involving financial exploitation of a deceased 82 year old woman by her nursing home. As the estate’s Personal Representative, I was very involved with the details of the case. I often emailed or called our former attorney with questions and was very frustrated about the lack of respect I received back as his client.  Many calls and emails were ignored and I always felt (and was told by his assistant) that I was bothering him. Ray NEVER made me feel like that. He always returned my calls, usually the following day, and I was surprised to get immediate response from my emails even in the evening. Ray always treated me with respect and never made me feel like I was asking stupid questions.

Ray had two months to get ready for our trial. He successfully got an amended statute applied retroactively to our case (allowing us to recover attorney fees along with damages) and succeeded in winning the second time around when they appealed. The new trial was scheduled for a year out. Once again, Ray was ready and very excited about taking this to trial. I got cold feet a couple of weeks before trial and told Ray I wanted to settle it out of court. He admitted that he was disappointed but respected my wishes. He asked me to not take the first offer and he would do his best to get us an acceptable offer. Just days before trial, he got us a settlement that was probably greater than any we would have gotten in court. I am very happy with the outcome of our case and know it wouldn’t have happened if Ray hadn’t gotten involved.  I will hire Ray again if I ever need an attorney. I recommend Ray to anyone who is looking for a hard working, honest, compassionate, competent attorney who treats his clients with respect.
